KOHL project

I've been working on this project for a while, and it's finally complete!

Kohl is 6 months!

Wow, our little boy is already 6 months! He is a true joy and we had no idea we could love a child this much. We are so grateful for his sweet personality and smile. He stats: 281/4 inches tall which is the 95th percentile, and is 18 lbs. 10 oz which is in the 65th percentile. We love this little guy!

This month Kohl:
-LOVES to sit up ALL the time
-grabs EVERYTHING and puts it in his mouth
-has been to Arizona and Nevada
-likes to help dad with work and type on the keyboard
-went on his first airplane ride
-likes sucking on his lip
-talks a lot
-drinks out of a cup
-likes to sit and rock back and forth (I think he got this from his cousin Clara)
-thinks it's fun to kick his leg the whole time he's nursing

Happy Birthday Daddy!

This picture pretty much sums up everything. I love you dad!

Over the River and Through the Woods

To Grandma and Grandpa's we go! Kohl and I went to Spokane to visit his grandparents, uncles and aunt that he hasn't seen since his was a month old. We had some long traveling days but he did great! On the way to Spokane we had a layover in Denver, and we were lucky enough to see my aunt and grandparents! Kohl spent the week being held EVERY second by everyone (especially Aunt Chantel and Grandma), learning to drink out of a cup, and having sleepovers with Uncle Steven, and grandma and grandpa!

Easter

Kohl's first Easter was spent watching General Conference and spending time as a family. We stayed home and relaxed because Kohl was sick and Dev had just broke his arm the day before. I attempted to make a ham, some funeral potatoes, and a strawberry delight for dessert. I love Easter, the special day it is.

Easter Eve Surprise

Dev tried to get in some mountain biking last Saturday before priesthood session of conference. Instead of going to priesthood session, he spent it with a doctor. Low and behold, he broke his arm! We're still adjusting to life with Dev having one arm. I'm excited for him to be able to change diapers again, and Dev's excited to hold Kohl normal again.

Haircut Catastrophe

The day finally came when Kohl had to get his first haircut. I put off cutting his hair because is so cute, and I've been told they go from looking like a baby to a little boy. It's so true! Also, it's hard to keep little ones still. Because of that, the hair around one of his ears turned out...well...terrible. Poor guy, hope it grows out fast!:)
