Marvin James Lythgoe Jr. 1940 ~ 2010 Marvin James Lythgoe Jr., 69, passed away suddenly but peacefully Saturday, June 19, 2010 at his home in Aurora, CO. If the worth of a man is determined by the depth of his love for his family and friends, we have lost a giant among men. He was his family's compass and parachute and will be loved and missed forever. Marv is survived by his lovely wife of 49 years, JoAnn Richins Lythgoe, and his daughters and their husbands: Debbie and Dave Frischknecht of Spokane WA; and Chris and Tim McEntee of Greenwood Village, CO. He also leaves behind five beautiful grandchildren, his first great-grand-son, and his brothers and sisters: Bill Lythgoe, Karen Ashbaker, Darrell Rector and Marilyn Lawrence. All who loved him are invited to say good-bye at a Viewing on Wednesday, June 23rd, 6:00-8:00 p.m., followed by a Celebration of Life on Thursday, June 24th at 11:00 a.m. at Lindquist Mortuary, 1867 N. Fairfield Rd., Layton, UT. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Marv's name to The Alta Vista Center for Autism, 2695 S. Jersey St., Denver, CO 80222. An additional service and interment will be held on Saturday June 26th at 11:00 a.m. at Olinger Chapel Hill, 6601 S. Colorado Blvd, Littleton, CO.6.19.2010
