Boise or Bust!

Last weekend we went up and saw Kade and Brooke (our nephew and niece) in Boise...oh yeah, I guess Joanna and Nate were there too:) We had a great time, and it's nice that they are close enough to go visit in a weekend. It is always so fun to see Nate and Jo, and Kade and Brooke are always soooo cute...er Brooke is cute and Kade is cool (sorry about that Kade, I didn't mean to call you cute). We went and had a picnic at Lake Lowell, and the little kiddies loved to play in the water, and Bri loved to stand in the cool water to cool down as the little guy in her tummy always has the heat on full blast...which reminds me of a funny story.

Yesterday he (our little guy in Bri's tummy) was in an uncomfortable position so Bri poked him and told him to move, and he immediately responded by kicking her in her ribs, causing Bri to instantly jerk at the sharp pain. Needless to say she's learned to save the constructive reinforcement 'til he comes out of the womb.

Dev forgot something...Recently when we go somewhere, he loves to test the gas gauge and how many miles the car says it has left. We were in the middle of nowhere and Dev looks down to see that there's 17 miles till empty. The nearest city was about 30. So he slows WAY down to save the gas and puts himself up really far up to the wheel acting as if he's an older, nervous driver when the other cars would pass us (including semis). Needless to say, we drove 9 miles when it said we had 0...So glad we didn't have to walk those miles to get gas:)
